About Us

Tasmanian Online Lions Club

About our club

The Tasmanian Online Lions Club is for people who want to join a Lions Club but can’t attend in-person meetings.

Our meetings are held via Zoom at 8.00pm on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month usually for about one hour. Members attend meetings in the comfort of their own home, at the home of a friend or for those who travel, wherever they are.

The Tasmanian Online Lions Club collaborates with and works alongside traditional Lions clubs and other organisations in Tasmania.

We have project areas:

  • Our Safe Families project in which we are creating  a one stop webpage with information about coercive control and family violence and support services  in Tasmania. This project will be launched in September 2024.
  • Our small affordable housing project in which we are working to address the rental crisis in Derwent Valley.
  • Our outdoor movie project in which we will establish partnerships with other organisations and contribute to social and family wellbeing by showing outdoor movies in communities across Tasmania.
  • Disaster Relief. Our members respond to disasters along with other Lions in Tasmania. We are currently involved in getting feed for stock to King Island.

Lions Australia. We serve (more than sausages).
