Tasmanian LEOs

Welcome to the Tasmanian Online Leos Network

Leos are young people aged 12 to 30 who come together to serve their communities, develop their leadership skills, and make lifelong friendships. Here in Tasmania, we’re building something a little different — a network that connects Leos right across our beautiful island state, no matter where they live. Membership is completely free.

Leos in Tasmania

Tasmania might be small, but the spirit of Leo is alive and growing across our communities — from the rugged beauty of King Island to the towns and regions of the mainland island.

King Island Leo Club

The King Island Leo Club is a shining example of what young people can achieve when they come together with purpose. Located in one of Tasmania’s most unique and remote communities, King Island Leos have shown that distance is no barrier to making a real difference. Their members are passionate, community-minded, and proudly Leo.

Remote Leos — Connected Across the Distance

Not every young person in Tasmania has a Leo Club nearby — and that’s exactly why the Tasmanian Online Leos Network exists. Remote Leos are members who live and serve in regional or rural areas without a local club to call home. Through our online network, they stay connected, take part in Leo activities, share ideas, and support one another — proving that geography doesn’t have to limit your impact.

If you live in a remote part of Tasmania and have the Leo spirit, there’s a place for you here.

Growing the Leo Movement in Tasmania

There’s exciting momentum building across Tasmania, with interest in forming new Leo Clubs in some communities around the state. Whether you’re a young person who wants to get involved, a Lions member looking to sponsor a new club, or a community group wanting to learn more, now is a wonderful time to be part of the Leo story in Tasmania.

We’d love to hear from anyone who is curious about what a Leo Club could look like in their town or region.

Our Monthly Zoom Meetings

The Tasmanian Online Leos Network meets monthly via Zoom — and everyone is welcome! Whether you’re an existing Leo member, someone thinking about joining, or simply curious about what we’re all about, come along and see for yourself. It’s a relaxed, friendly space to connect with Leos from across Tasmania.

Keep an eye on this page or get in touch with us to find out when the next meeting is on.
